Dr. JoAllyn Archambault is a cultural anthropologist with an expertise in American Indians. Archambault is of Sioux and Creek descent and is a member of the Rock Sioux Tribe. She is the director of the American Indian Program at the National Museum of Natural History in the Smithsonian.
